Kourtney and Kim Kardashian throw a joint lavish birthday party for their daughters in LA (photos)

North, whose parents are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and Penelope, whose parents are Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disik, yesterday had a lavish joint 'unicorn-themed' party to celebrate their 5th and 6th birthday respectively. 

North will actually be 5-year-old in a few days while Penelope turns 6-year-old next month.
